CHIROPRACTOR

Michael Stochmal

Michael graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1993 and has been in private practice in Nanaimo ever since.  He endeavours to serve the local population to provide relief care, rehabilitation and performance care.  For him it has been a privilege to work with central island's amateur athletes, supporting them in their pursuit of excellence.  Michael does this by ensuring that strength and endurance training are done on a foundation of flexibility and control. Chiropractic's contribution is focussed on activating intrinsic ranges of motion within the kinetic chain.  Different techniques are employed in the spine to activate disc versus facet mechanics and their effects on the nervous system.
