Peter Lawless Ch.P.C.
Peter has been involved in High Performance sport for over 20 years in the sports of sailing, athletics and cycling. A two time winner of a Petro Canada Coaching Excellence Award most recently Peter coached Michelle Stilwell to a Gold and Silver Medal at the London Paralympic Games. Throughout his career Peter’s athletes have had remarkable success including breaking 18 World Records in athletics and winning fifteen Paralympic or World Championships medals in both cycling and athletics. While predominately a coach of Paralympic athletes Peter also coaches high performance able-bodied athletes including the highest placed Canadian finisher at the 2011 World Junior Championships (cycling).
Beyond direct coaching Peter sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Olympic Committee and is the President of Coaches of Canada. Peter also sits on the Board of Directors of both the Pacific Institute of Sports Excellence and Cycling BC. At a grassroots level Peter is the founding (and current) President of Tripleshot Cycling; one of the largest cycling clubs in BC and is one of the organizers of a large (100+ rider) charity ride which has raised almost $100,000 for cancer research to date.
Peter lives in Victoria, BC with his wife Karen, who is both a 2004 Paralympian (Athletics) and a member of the Canadian Cycling Team who won the overall World Cup Title for class H1 in 2011.

Colin Young
His twenty-year career has included marketing positions within sport organizations, and for big brands in both Canada and the United States including Nike US, NBC Sports, and Bausch & Lomb and the Canadian Sport Centre Calgary.
While at Nike, Colin worked within the women’s sport marketing department and managed Nike’s global volleyball marketing, overseeing the activation of many of Nike’s star female athletes, negotiated and managed numerous U.S. sport federation agreements, and was a member of Nike’s Olympic apparel development team for the Sydney 2000 Olympics.
Colin has a strong grasp on the power of new media and network television broadcast delivery. While based in San Francisco he was a Senior Producer for a number of award-winning online efforts including NBCOlympics.com for Sydney, Salt Lake, Athens, and Torino as well as PGA Tour coverage on Golf.com.
When he returned to Canada in 2001, Colin led the sponsorship and marketing efforts for the Canadian Sport Centre Calgary, generating over $2 million in funding through the development of innovative programs and events including Fuel for Gold, The Business of Performance, The Canadian Sport Heroes Collection and Golf with an Olympian.
Colin co-founded Agenda Sport Marketing in 2005 and developed it into one of Canada's top sport marketing agencies.

Yvonne Visser
Sport Massage has been a career and passion of Yvonne's for 14
years, and has allowed her to work with Summer and Winter athletes
from Canada while competing around the world. Yvonne uses her
experience as a former Olympic athlete (Biathlon) and coach to work both the
physical and psychological aspect of high performance sport. Yvonne will be
supporting Michelle in London as part of the Athletics Canada Staff.
CHIROPRACTOR
Michael Stochmal
Michael graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 1993 and has been in private practice in Nanaimo ever since. He endeavours to serve the local population to provide relief care, rehabilitation and performance care. For him it has been a privilege to work with central island's amateur athletes, supporting them in their pursuit of excellence. Michael does this by ensuring that strength and endurance training are done on a foundation of flexibility and control. Chiropractic's contribution is focussed on activating intrinsic ranges of motion within the kinetic chain. Different techniques are employed in the spine to activate disc versus facet mechanics and their effects on the nervous system.
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Janice Rule
Janice earned her Kinesiology degree in 1997 from the University of Victoria, and went on to earn her B.Sc in Physiotherapy from Queen's University in 2003. She has had a passion for sport throughout her life, particularly for soccer and running. She has worked as a physiotherapist in a variety of venues including Skate Canada, the BC Summer Games, the BC Senior Games, and the BC Youth Futsal Championships. She is honoured to be provided the opportunity to support Michelle on her athletic journey!
STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING
Steve Ramsbottom
Steve is the owner and founder of Performance Institute. Steve earned is Bachelor's degree in Human Kinetics from the University of British Columbia. He trains several of BC's top amateur and collegiate athletes, and serves as the strength and conditioning coach for Vancouver's professional soccer team the Whitecaps FC as well as Canada's national wheelchair basketball team, wheelchair rugby team, and wheelchair tennis team. In addition to working with high-level athletes, the native of Mississauga, Ontario, also works with active rehabilitation clients, corporate clients, and people looking to improve their overall health and wellness. Some of Ramsbottom's notable clients include the Slovakian national hockey team, three-time Canadian figure skating champion Emanuel Sandhu, as well as actors Jessica Alba, Zac Efron, Amanda Peet, and Hugh Jackman.
